HeimLantz CPAs and Advisors is pleased to announce that Sheri Mergenthaler, CFP®, CPWA®, CDFA® has been promoted to Director of Wealth Management.
Mergenthaler joined the HeimLantz team in 2006 as a Wealth Management Assistant. From the start of her career at HeimLantz, she realized how much she loved helping others achieve their personal financial goals. In fact, her internship at HeimLantz was what inspired her to change her college major to finance.
Mergenthaler has benefited from a long tenure with HeimLantz. After several years working with the firm and obtaining her degree, Mergenthaler was promoted to Client Relationship Manager. Upon acquiring her Certified Financial PlannerTM designation, she was named a Wealth Management Advisor. In her new role as Wealth Management Champion, Mergenthaler will strategically lead the firm’s Wealth Management division and team. She is also actively involved in creating synchronous relationships for the firm’s clients between Wealth Management and CPA services.
“I am very excited for the opportunity to be the Director of Wealth Management at HeimLantz,” said Mergenthaler. “Helping our clients obtain financial independence has always been my number one goal. I look forward to continuing to do that and to helping grow our Wealth Management team in the process.”
A 2011 graduate of the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, Mergenthaler holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Mergenthaler holds certifications as a Certified Financial PlannerTM, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, and a Certified Private Wealth Advisor®. Mergenthaler currently lives in West River, Maryland, with her husband and two daughters.
