Meghan has a lot to say about why she loves HeimLantz. From the genuine care that the firm shows for its employees, to the seven core values and final mission of “Making Lives Better”, to monthly mentor meetings in order to promote the pursuit of career goals, to celebrating one another’s life moments together. In her words, “HeimLantz is a trusting place for our clients and for our team.” As a wealth management assistant, Meghan’s responsibilities include generating paperwork, managing account transactions, creating procedures and processes for the team, corresponding closely with clients, relieving the advisors of administrative tasks, and working as an assistant to the financial advisory team. She has been a valued member of the HeimLantz team since joining the firm in 2008.
A graduate of the University of Maryland’s University College, Meghan was a hard worker, holding a full time job and remaining on the dean’s list throughout studies. She served the firm as an administrative services coordinator for seven years before moving into her current position. Meghan is currently studying for the Series 66 and Series 7 exams with the hopes of advancing in her wealth management role after becoming a licensed assistant. She is inspired in her pursuits by her desire to help others—money is a blessing, but it comes with a variety of complications, she explains, and she enjoys sharing her knowledge of money management with others.
Meghan enjoys living near and working in the Annapolis area. She loves taking walks through the downtown streets, passing the historic houses, slipping into various restaurants, and unwinding with conversation and ice cream by the water. As one who places a high value on her faith, Meghan serves her community by volunteering as a counselor for the local pregnancy clinic. When she isn’t busy volunteering, she enjoys photography, reading, fitness and nutrition, running in races, blogging, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
